In this section of the course you will learn the basic navigational skills to keep you going on the right path down the waterway. Bow, Stern, Port, Starboard, Buoys, and Various signs are some of the subjects covered.

In this section of the course you will learn all about what safely equipment is required and recommended to keep you and your family safe on the water.

With the wind and current docking can be very challenging. We will teach you the skills to help you know how to calculate and safely dock your boat every time.

Learning the waterway rules proper etiquette is essential to becoming a safe captain on the water. Our experienced captains will teach you about various scenarios that you will encounter on the water and how you should handle them.

Learning how to properly use your electronics and gps can be confusing. Our captains will show you the basics that will help in using them.

Anchoring is a very important part of boating. Tide, current, and wind are all things that you will need to consider when anchoring. Our captains will show you different techniques to safely anchor your boat.

In this section our local captains will instruct you on very important local waterway knowledge. As tides and currents move so do the Sandbars .

Learning how to beach the boat safley can be the difference between a good day and a bad day on the water. This can be done alone or with help of one of your passengers. Our captains will teach you several different ways of doing this.
